Your race weekend.
Your privacy.

Information on your device

RaceCal stores downloaded schedules, reminder choices, appearance preferences and countdown settings on your device. The app and its widgets share schedule data and countdown preferences through an Apple App Group on that device. Historical calendars and race results are included with the app.

RaceCal does not require an account and does not include advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics or crash-reporting services. It does not upload your reminder choices, purchase records or notification device tokens to a RaceCal server.

Payments and existing-user access

Apple processes purchases and subscriptions. RaceCal uses StoreKit on your device to verify purchase status, expiry and the original app download, including eligibility for existing-user lifetime access. RaceCal does not receive your payment-card details.

A verified lifetime-access marker may be stored in the device’s Keychain and may remain after you uninstall the app. It preserves access and is not used to track you. Apple’s handling of purchases and Apple Account information is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

Calendar downloads

The app, widgets and this website’s countdown preview download public calendar files from GitHub. GitHub receives ordinary connection information such as your IP address and request metadata. Its handling and retention of that information are described in the GitHub privacy statement. RaceCal does not add an advertising identifier or a personal account identifier to these requests.

Notifications and calendar subscriptions

Personal reminders are scheduled locally using Apple’s notification system. You control notification permission in iOS Settings. RaceCal does not provide remote push delivery from a RaceCal server.

If you choose an external calendar subscription, Apple Calendar contacts that calendar provider independently. Its privacy policy and Apple’s settings apply. Removing RaceCal does not remove a separate calendar subscription; remove it in Apple Calendar when you no longer want it.

This website and support

This website serves static pages and images. It does not add analytics, advertising scripts, tracking cookies, account registration or contact forms. The time-zone demonstration uses your browser’s time-zone setting locally; it does not request your location or send the selection to a server.

When hosted on Vercel, the hosting provider receives connection information such as your IP address, browser request metadata and the pages requested to deliver and secure the website. See Vercel’s privacy policy. We do not use this information for advertising or cross-site tracking.

If you email support, your email address and the information you choose to send are used to respond to your request. Avoid sending payment-card information or unnecessary sensitive information. Support correspondence is retained only as needed to handle the request and applicable obligations.

Links to Apple, championship sites, GitHub and other websites open services with their own privacy practices.

Your choices and retention

You can change or remove reminder choices in RaceCal, revoke notifications in iOS Settings, and manage subscriptions through your Apple Account. Uninstalling the app removes its app-container data; Keychain records, Apple purchase history and device backups may remain under Apple’s storage and backup rules.

Contact support if you have a question about information you supplied by email or wish to request its deletion.

Children and security

RaceCal does not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian can contact us to request removal if a child has supplied personal information to support.

RaceCal uses HTTPS for calendar downloads and Apple’s platform storage and purchase-verification facilities. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Changes and contact
